CDC needs to use fast, accurate, and integrated data to help rapidly identify and mitigate emerging threats as well as to develop and deploy world-class data and analytics that protect Americans from health threats.

Rapid pace innovation and significant investment in R&D have generated significant tools to modernize all aspects of IT and use them to accomplish a mission more effectively. The sessions below will outline what will be covered to achieve these objectives.

Session 1: Transforming IT to Enterprise Service Provider

This session will help determine a path for CDC to achieve next generation business objectives with IT Service Management principles (ITSM), focusing on frameworks, tools, and customer successes. Utilizing a holistic approach, we will develop strategies around Cloud Smart and Hybrid-Cloud to optimize application portfolios to deliver results for achieving organizational goals.

We will explore how CDC can leverage Dell Technologies $5bn R&D spend with next-generation enterprise level technologies such as:

  • Software Defined Datacenter
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Automation
  • Orchestration
  • Predictive Analysis
  • Machine learning
  • Data modeling
  • Visualization

with the goal of modernizing IT infrastructure, Data Center and seeking partner-driven data solutions. We will discuss a holistic approach to developing a Cloud Smart, Hybrid-Cloud strategy in optimizing application portfolios. The Dell MCP team will develop incremental implementation plans through follow-up discussions with CDC.

Session 2: Modernizing the Remote Worker Experience

This session will focus on how CDC can modernize the Remote worker experience and strengthen the data science workforce. Learn about the latest innovations in DELL’s end user client portfolio designed to equip CDC with the most intelligent, secure devices for your digital workplace and persona-based user experiences.

We will explore how we can increase efficiency in the following areas among CDC and Partners:

  • Collaboration
  • Communication
  • Messaging

While building a stronger and highly skilled workforce in:

  • Data Science
  • Analytics
  • Modeling
  • Informatics

We will explore how CDC can leverage Persona Based, End User focused solutions and state-of-the-art tools and technologies such as Augmented Reality to be a more productive organization. We will also discuss managing the End Point, VDI as a Service and extending the ServiceNow capability for CDC.

Session 3: Delivering Mission Insight from New Approaches to Data Engineering and Data Science

This session will share customer success stories from innovative companies having legacy infrastructure, “technical debt”, who have innovated and benefited from modern technologies. Our application-centric approach will improve CDC’s mission continuity posture and discuss how CDC can leverage open standards and tools while protecting data security.
